The stuff I delete.

On hiatuses & thumbnails

What’s happenin’ playa?! Sshhiiiitttttt

It’s been a minute. I was/am doing things that I will likely write about another time.

The important thing is that I’m writing now.

I do believe my original intentions for creating this newsletter were to:
1) Write (and publish) more consistently.
2) Use as a means of exposure response prevention therapy.
Exposure: Share content. Response Prevention: Do NOT delete content.
3) Gain a bunch of loyal readers and become niche-corner-of-the-interwebz (enough to have a fan subreddit made about me, and get really rich. Boi. What?)

The urge to delete is strong.

Especially after coming back to a seldom-read newsletter that I can become so disproportionally anxious about, especially given the readership. Just about every time that I do come back to write after another botched attempt at consistency - I will have the idea to just delete everything and start a brand new, super-consistent streak of writing/publishing that is probably not going to happen.

The urge to delete is strong.

That’s not going to happen this time. I will start small. I will write when I write.

And I will do so with the additional excitement of having finally, fucking finally, figured out how to change the thumbnail for each post.

Deuces.
